The Virgin Diet - Day 3

The shakes have improved. That is probably the most significant thing to report today. The shakes have improved. I took out the flax seed and kale, chilled the coconut milk, and added cold water. I also put the protein powder into the blender last instead of first. That combination of changes worked and I don't plan on messing with it anytime soon. I am actually *almost* looking forward to them now.

The meals are OK. I miss bread and cheese and diet Coke. I am sick of lettuce and balsamic vinegar dressing. But I am down 5.6 pounds in three days. Can't really argue with results like that now can you?

I don't have "brain fog" but I am tired. Dead, bone tired. In defense of this diet, we did start it the day after vacation. We pulled into our driveway at 7:30 pm and then unloaded and unpacked and got the kids lunches and bags ready for day care and summer camp the next morning. I worked one job Monday, the other job Tuesday and spent all of Wednesday cleaning, mowing our jungle of a yard, (Can you guess how many times you have to stop, empty the bag and restart the mower when you haven't cut the grass in three weeks? I can tell you, a LOT.) and babysitting my two-year-old nephew. I have been to bed late every night and up early every morning. So yes, I have reason to be tired. But I just feel exhausted.
