"Un"civilization

This will be short. And delayed. And riddled with typo's. Because I am typing this post on my IPhone. And because there is NO cell service in these woods. Do you know what no cell service means? No IPhone compass, no GPS, no "nearby hiking trails that are good for kids" Google search. We had to BUY A BOOK. An honest to goodness book with PAPER pages since I can't download the Kindle version.

The kids are loving it. Yesterday, we took them "fishing", no hooks, no bait, just fishing poles with little lead weights and bright orange bobbers on the ends. Which turned out to be brilliant foresight on Andrew's part since we spent most of our time untangling fishing line from the surrounding trees, bushes and a beaver dam. The water was ICE cold (glacier fed river anyone?) but they swam and waded for the better part of two hours.

Storyland is on today's agenda and then a short hike and home on Sunday.
